Coconut oil is created by pressing the coconut meat of a mature coconut and extracting the oil.  It is normal coconut oil done by frying the flesh or cold pressed coconut oil which without applying heat or the frying.   The best of the two is the cold pressed coconut oil because it retains it's Lauric acid which is the secret of the coconut oil's medicinal  power.

If there is any oil you should avoid, plz let it not be coconut oil.   If there is any fruit or raw food you want to avoid, old let it not be coconut fruit.   It is nature's special gift to man.   Before now, we were deceived to believe that coconut  is filled with saturated fats and therefore causes obesity and hearts  disease,  we have good news for lovers of healthy foods and wellness, contest to our earlier beliefs,  coconut oil neither causes obesity nor hearts disease.  We shall  see in the discussion  that follows that coconut and it's derivatives should not be avoided.

Yes, Coconut oil is high in healthy saturated fats, but here are some benefits of saturated fats.

- Saturated fatty acids constitute  at least about 50% of cell membrane

Despite the fact that the majority of health officials claimed all saturated fats are bad for you, recent evaluation  of the basis of the recommendation has found it to be seriously flawed as unprocessed  saturated fats such as found in coconut are an important  part of a healthy diet and should be regularly consumed and not assiduously  avoided.
