That fish is a brainpower food? It was one of the most common foods eaten in the Bible. Jesus miraculously multiplied it to feed the multitudes, and He prepared it several times for His disciples. In fact, quite a few of the disciples were fishermen.
Omega 3 fatty acid, a rare nutrient in most common foods required for a healthy body is found in abundance in fish.
One form of fish's omega-3 fatty acid is called DHA. It has been discovered that the more DHA a food contains, the higher the level of serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that actually causes you to feel a greater sense of well-being. DHA is found in the following types of fish:
- Sardines
- Mackerel
- Herring
- Salmon
- Tuna
- Various White fish
Fish oil or omega 3 fatty acids is also known to help prevent build up of substances, that produce various inflammations. And as you already know inflammations makes all pains worst such as arthritis and may even be behind such chronic diseases as arthritis and various bone problems. - Salmon
- Mackerel
- Sardines
- Flaxseed
- Tuna
- Coconut
- Yam etc
So go ahead and enjoy eating your fish moderately, for even Jesus shared such foods with his disciples.
